Miss Kentucky Organization awards $25,000 in scholarships at Quality of Life Luncheon
BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – This week is the Miss Kentucky Pageant. Thursday morning was the 2026 Quality of Life Award Luncheon, designed to support the queens in their platforms and education.
Awards and $25,000 worth of scholarships were given out at the luncheon. The five finalists awarded were recognized for their hard work and participation in their communities.
Organizers say that each year, seeing the queens vying for the title grows more and more, showing the hearts beneath the crowns.
“The service initiative these young women create and implement through their years of service is really the boots on the ground aspect of our organization as a whole. It’s a way to show how they really do care about others. They care about the causes and the issues that they’re seeking to champion, and it’s really impactful. It’s inspiring for me to see what difference they’re making in the lives of everyone that they come in contact with,” said Emily Ice, treasurer for the Miss Kentucky Organization.
If you missed the luncheon, there’s still time to buy dinner with entrepreneur’s tickets for Thursday night and to reserve your seat for the current Miss Kentucky, Ariana Rodriguze’s, final walk to give her crown to the new 2026 Miss Kentucky this Saturday.
