2 charged with drug trafficking following pursuit in Logan, Todd counties

ALLENSVILLE, Ky. – A Tennessee man and a Kentucky woman are charged following a police pursuit.
According to a uniform citation, Kentucky State Police Post 2 Troopers conducted a traffic stop on US 79 in Allensville Saturday morning.
The driver was identified as 21-year-old Jordan Dasher, of Erin, Tennessee. 21-year-old Aaliyah Rudder, of Elkton, was a passenger in Dasher’s vehicle.
Troopers say they observed two black boxes in the floorboard of the passenger side of the vehicle.
Troopers say Dasher refused to exit the vehicle and drove away, pulling a trooper.
According to the citation, Dasher drove onto KY 79 and into Logan County at speeds up to 107 miles per hour.
Authorities stopped Dasher again and executed a probable cause search of the vehicle. During the search, officers say they located suspected THC vapes and marijuana.
Rudder told police that she and Dasher “smoked a blunt an hour prior.”
Dasher and Mudder were arrested and lodged at the Todd County Jail.
Dasher is charged with first-degree fleeing or evading police (motor vehicle), first-degree wanton endangerment (police officer), tampering with physical evidence, reckless driving, improper passing, failure to or improper signal, failure to produce an insurance card, trafficking in marijuana (> 5 pounds, first offense), operating a motor vehicle under the influence of a substance (first offense), speeding 26 mph or > speed limit and drug paraphernalia – buy/possess.
Mudder is charged with trafficking in marijuana (> 5 pounds, first offense) and tampering with physical evidence.
The investigation is ongoing.
