13th annual Tuck Entertainment Easter Egg Hunt brings joy
FRANKLIN, Ky. – Hundreds of children and families gathered in Franklin, Kentucky for the 13th annual Easter Egg Hunt by Tuck Entertainment at Lincoln Park.
Kids flooded the park and enjoyed the free family event.
There were prize giveaways, free haircuts and so much more. However, the main goal was to share the reason for the season, and that’s their love of god.
Michelle, the event coordinator, said, “So what better way to show love to the community? Because that’s what he did for us. He gave us the ultimate sacrifice, and so we’re just excited to give back to some kid that may not wake up to an Easter experience like this.”
The excitement goes beyond bounce houses and free games, and one local pastor shares how.
Ty Crowder, the Pastor at Living Free, says, “Personally, for me, I grew up as one of those kids that didn’t have a lot of resources growing up. So being able to provide simple things like prizes and bikes and just things that some kids take for granted and others don’t. But we just want to be the hands and feet that provide felt needs and spiritual needs.”
If you missed this year’s Easter egg hunt, don’t worry. The community will come together again for next year’s Easter egg hunt.
