• The Russell Sims Aquatic Center is hosting the Summer Beach Party! To head on down, admission is only 3 dollars for the general public and be sure to cool off in the hot weather.
• A great opportunity for basketball fans! The Capitol is hosting a lunch with Hall of Fame coach Sherri Coale. Coale coached the University of Oklahoma for 25 years before being inducted into the Women’s Basketball Hall of Fame. That kicks off at 11 am later today.
• If you are looking for a great opportunity to connect with business leaders in our community, then you’re in luck! Strong Community, Strong Coffee is happening at the WKU Innovation Campus. You’ll be able to network with other like-minded individuals. That starts at 9am.
• As we experience the dog days of Summer, remember you can cut down on that energy bill. Be sure to keep your fans running counter-clockwise, try to run your appliances later in the evenings, and for every degree you raise your thermostat, you save 3 percent on your bill.
