Four Things You Need to Know: Tuesday, March 4th, 2025

Happy Tuesday!

Before you head out the door, here are the four things you need to know.

  1. Wind gusts will crank to 40mph or more this afternoon. A wind advisory is in effect, and rain chances will increase later this evening.
  2. For any motorists planning on driving through Monroe County, there’s a road closure you need to be aware of.. A project to replace a low-water crossing with a bridge will create a long-term closure on KY 678 in Monroe County. That will begin March 17th and last until late June or July. Motorists will need to seek an alternate route.
  3. Logan County residents needing assistance with their taxes can get help from the Good Samaritan’s Volunteer Income Tax Assistance program. The program runs through April 15th.
  4. Some exciting news this week: the Bowling Green Hot Rods and White Squirrel Brewery are teaming up to create the New Line Drive lager. They’re hosting a release party this Saturday, starting at 1:00 P.M., and admission is free.
