Local humane society offering $25 spay and neuter services

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – The Bowling Green-Warren County Humane Society is offering a deal in 2025 for spay and neuter services.
The humane society says thanks to Cathy Bissell and the Bissell Pet Foundation, it will only be charging $25 to spay or neuter all dogs and cats under 80 pounds.
The deal is possible because of Bissell’s Fix the Future initiative, rescuers say.
The humane society says it has seen a large increase in applications and recommends going to the shelter in person for a faster appointment. You can find the humane society at 1924 Louisville Road in Bowling Green.
If you are not able to travel to the humane society, rescuers say they can speak over the phone, but it could take them two to three weeks to get through the applications.
