Fire reported at Captain D’s on Bypass

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – The Bowling Green Fire Department is investigating a fire on Monday at Captain D’s off of U.S. 31-W Bypass.

According to BGFD public information officer Katie McKee, nine units responded to a reported structure fire around 10:03 a.m. at the scene. Upon arrival, McKee says smoke was visible from the eave of the backside of the building, She says employees evacuated.

Crews quickly located the source of the fire and extinguished it.

No injuries have been reported at this time, fire officials say.

The cause of the fire is still under investigation.

News 40 crews were at the scene and confirmed the Bowling Green Police Department responded for assistance.
