TriStar Greenview breaks ground on new emergency room

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – On Wednesday, TriStar Greenview Regional Hospital celebrated the groundbreaking of TriStar Lovers Lane ER.

This will serve as the first and only freestanding emergency room in the region, according to a release by TriStar Greenview.

The 11,000-square-foot, 11-bed fully operational emergency room features:

  • Exam rooms Triage
  • Trauma bay
  • Advanced imaging, including CT and X-ray
  • Laboratory
  • Pharmacy

Dr. Joe Thomas, emergency department medical director with TriStar Greenview Regional Hospital, says, “Having a new facility and another facility that moves closer to some of the larger growing areas of Bowling Green just creates better access for care for all people who need it.”

TriStar Lovers Lane ER, located off of Interstate 65 at the corner of Frist Boulevard and Lovers Lane, will prepared and equipped to care for any type of medical emergency, from strokes to heart attacks and more, the release states.

Construction is expected to be completed in April of 2025.
