Glasgow police respond to vehicle crash on Monday

GLASGOW, Ky. – The Glasgow Police Department investigated a motor vehicle injury accident on Monday.

Officers responded to a call to the intersection of West Main Street and S L Roger Wells Boulevard in reference to a vehicle crash.

At the scene, officers determined that a 2001 Mazda, operated by Marie Fils, was traveling southbound on S L Roger Wells Boulevard attempting to make a left turn onto West Main Street.

Police say the motor vehicle pulled into the path of a 2014 Chevy Cruze operated by Sara Lopez. Lopez was traveling northbound on S L Roger Wells Boulevard.

Both operators were transported by Barren/Metcalfe EMS due to injuries sustained in the crash.
