UPDATE: Warren County Sheriff’s Office locates teen missing since Sept. 26

UPDATE (Sept. 30 8:30 a.m.) – Sheriff Brett Hightower tells WNKY News 40 that 16-year-old Kirea Carrington, who was reported missing on Sept. 26, has been located safely.

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – The Warren County Sheriff’s Office (WCSO) is searching for a missing juvenile.

16-year-old Kirea Carrington was last seen by her mother just after midnight on Sept. 26.

Carrington has light brown hair with blonde highlights, is 5’7″ and weighs 145 pounds, according to WCSO.

Authorities say she was wearing Hello Kitty Pajama pants and a gray sleeveless shirt. Carrington’s mother believes she would have changed her clothes before leaving her home.
