Park City’s Bark Park is now open!
PARK CITY, Ky.- The Bark Park at H.P Thomas Park is now open and city officials celebrated this weekend with a ribbon cutting.
There are multiple shade trees to keep your pup cool, along with a dog fountain to keep your furry pal hydrated. These improvements come after years of renovation to the area, and a large grant from Hill’s Pet Nutrition. The grant paid for up to 8 shade trees to provide natural shade, concrete benches, and shade structures. This funding also allowed for the park to feature 12 “playground toys” for the dogs. This includes balance beams, wall climbers, hoops to run through, and bridges. A section for both small and large dogs is available.
The Bark Park is located inside H.P Thomas Park and covers four acres of land.
