Auto dealerships hit with second day of computer outage

(CNN, KCCI) – A second cyber attack incident is causing issues for 15,000 auto dealers in the U.S. and Canada.
The software provider CDK Global is continuing its investigation.
As a precaution, most of their systems have been shut down for the second day and are expected to be out all day Thursday.
The software is used for things like deal negotiations and service records.
Dealers are concerned because summer is a busy car buying season.
Some dealerships went back to the older way of doing business with pen and paper.
While not ideal, they say handwritten buyer’s orders will keep them from missing out on sales.
