EUGENE, Ore. – The WKU Track and Field season has come to a close at the NCAA Outdoor Championships. Katie Isenbarger competed for the Red and White in the women’s high jump final Saturday afternoon.

On today’s finish head coach Brent Chumbley said “Just a little inconsistent today and couldn’t hit the big jump at the right time. Katie had a great year and we still have one more meet at the trials to cap off her stellar career.”

The decorated senior cleared 1.77 meters in her final meet as a Hilltopper, taking 21st place, good for All-American Honorable Mention honors.. Isenbarger is the first Hilltopper to ever compete in the women’s high jump at the outdoor championships.
