Three bridge projects completed in Edmonson County

EDMONSON COUNTY, Ky. – Major bridge projects are complete in Edmonson County.

According to Kentucky Transportation District 3, three bridge projects, totaling more than $2 million, are now operational.

Two of the bridges were removed and new structures were constructed.

The new bridge at KY 70 over Bear Creek opened to traffic in mid-April.

The new bridge at Whetstone Creek opened to traffic in the last week of May.

Officials say that a sidewalk and railing on the KY 70 bridge were installed and operational in May.
