Repaving project to impact traffic in downtown Horse Cave

HORSE CAVE, Ky. – Main Street in Horse Cave is set to get a facelift after nearly 100 years, and it may impact your travel if you’re expecting to go through there.

Travel along U.S. 31-W and KY 1846 will be impacted as the repaving process begins, according to Hart County Tourism.

The group states that stretch of road is down to one lane for the next few weeks, and larger trucks will be diverted, but all downtown businesses will still be open.

The group also says free public parking spots can be found downtown at Maple Avenue Park, Cave Street Public Parking Lot and the Higbee Street Public Parking Lot.
