Community Education to host 26th annual Stand for Children Day

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – An organization will host its long-time summer event this June.

Community Education announced the 26th Annual Stand for Children Day will be held on Thursday, June 20 from 9 am to 11 am at Bowling Green Ballpark. The rain date for the event is Monday, June 24

The event is free to the public and provides families in the South Central Kentucky community activities and information about services available.

Community Education will provide clear drawstring backpacks free of charge while supplies last.

Leading up to the event, Community Education will host a proclamation and ribbon cutting in the Club Room at Bowling Green Ballpark. The event will take place on Tuesday, June 18 at 9 am.

Vendor and summer camp registrations are open. Registration forms are available at www.commed.us.
