Crews restore thousands of outages by Wednesday

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – Crews continue to work after significantly reducing outages overnight.
On Wednesday morning, Farmers Rural Electric Cooperative Corporation says outages for 58 households remain, while Warren Rural Electric Cooperative Commission has 275 members without power.
Pennyrile Electric says it has restored over 18,000 members, and over 9,000 members are still without power since Sunday’s storms knocked electricity out across the viewing area.
Warren RECC says it has restored 98% of its members. You may see brief outages as final services are reconnected.
Farmers RECC says it hopes for power restoration to be complete today, but restoration could be slow due to needing specialized equipment.
Bowling Green Municipal Utilities is currently working on an outage affecting 222 households in the Briarwood subdivision in Bowling Green but otherwise has restored power.
