BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – Graves Gilbert Clinic has announced the launch of the Graves Gilbert Clinic Health Walk.

According to a release by Graves Gilbert, the Health Walk is in partnership with Lost River Cave and Bowling Green Ballpark, home of the Hot Rods.

The program will be free and open to the public, aiming to promote physical activity, community engagement and overall wellness, the release states.

“The goal for the Graves Gilbert Clinic Health Walk is to encourage our patients to be active and connect with our healthcare providers,” said Mike D’Eramo, Graves Gilbert Clinic, CEO. “ Graves Gilbert Clinic believes big changes start with a single step. We look forward to seeing you at a walk.”

At a Graves Gilbert Clinic Health Walk, participants will enjoy the opportunity to safely walk, receive free health education and meet their team of healthcare providers. Rain or shine, participants can join at two locations from 7:30-9 a.m., including Lost River Cave walking trails the last Wednesday of the month and at the Bowling Green Ballpark one Saturday a month.

The first health walk is set for Wednesday, May 29 at Lost River Cave, while the Graves Gilbert Clinic Health Walk at Bowling Green Ballpark will start on June 15.

“We’re excited to partner with Graves Gilbert Clinic to give this unique, early morning walk to the community. There’s something special about walking in the morning and waking up in the forest, especially at Lost River Cave. No one walks out of these woods with the same weight they carried in,” Justin Jennings, CEO at Lost River Cave.

Participants will have the chance to spend time with their current healthcare providers, ask questions or find a new provider from Graves Gilbert Clinic, who will be on hand to provide information and resources on various health topics, including physical activity, nutrition, preventive care, and more.

“We’re thrilled to partner with Graves Gilbert Clinic! It’s a fantastic opportunity to connect with local health providers and get moving at the ballpark! For all the baseball fans out there, walking around the ballpark is like taking a stroll through the heart of America’s favorite pastime. We all know that walking has great health benefits, even if the pitchers don’t like to walk those at bat. “- Kyle Wolz, General Manager & COO at Bowling Green Hot Rods.
