Officials warn of potential traffic signal issues, flooded roadways after storms

SOUTH-CENTRAL KENTUCKY – Storms swept through parts of south-central Kentucky on Tuesday, causing potential traffic hazards.
The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet District 3 is reminds drivers not to attempt to drive through flooded roadways. These flooded roads may not be visible at night.
KYTC is also reminding drivers that if they experience non-functioning traffic signals without any lights, treat them as a four-way stop.
If signals only show a flashing yellow light, proceed with caution. If they show a flashing red light, treat them as a stop sign.
