Barren County Sheriff’s Office investigating possible accidental shooting

GLASGOW, Ky. – The Barren County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a shooting.

On Thursday at approximately 7:24 p.m., deputies responded to a call of a shooting at a residence on Arnett Grove Road.

When deputies arrived, they woman had suffered a gunshot.

The woman was flown to UofL Health Hospital for treatment.

According to officials, the initial investigation determined that the shoot is accidental.

The investigation remains ongoing to rule out foul play.

The Barren County Sheriff’s office was assisted by Barren Metcalfe EMS and the East Barren Fire Department.
