UPDATE: Road back open; Police reconstructing collision at Nashville Road and Elrod Road

UPDATE: The roadway is now back open. Two people were injured in this accident. A passenger in a white truck was injured. The driver of a red truck was flown to Nashville for treatment.

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – The Bowling Green Police Department is reconstructing an accident at Nashville Road and Elrod Road.

BGPD public information officer Ronnie Ward confirmed the collision has resulted in serious injuries.

The number of individuals involved has not been confirmed at this time.

Drivers should seek an alternate route.
