KSP investigating fatal collision on Nashville Road

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – Authorities responded Tuesday morning to Nashville Road at Fortuna Avenue near Mitch McConnell Way for a fatal collision.

The Warren County Sheriff’s Office confirmed it was heading to the scene around 10:39 a.m. Warren County sheriff Brett Hightower confirmed the collision was fatal.

Further details have not been confirmed at this time. Authorities say the Kentucky State Police is investigating the crash.

The road remained closed in both directions for several hours for reconstruction. Bowling Green Police Department public information officer Ronnie Ward says the road has reopened.
