Edmonson County bridge work set to begin next week

EDMONSON COUNTY, Ky. – Work is expected to begin next week on an Edmonson County bridge.

The Kentucky 70 bridge over the Green River in Edmonson County will be down to one lane during daytime hours beginning Monday, transportation officials say.

The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet, District 3 says it will be repairing the sidewalk and rail on the bridge.

Lane closures are set to last about a month. Delays should be expected.
