1 dead in trooper-involved shooting in Warren County

PLANO, Ky. – The Kentucky State Police has confirmed one person died Monday in a shooting involving a trooper.

KSP says it requested an investigation after the shooting took place at about 4:15 p.m. in the Plano community of Warren County.

KSP’s Critical Incident Response Team arrived at the scene, where it began an investigation into the incident.

A male subject was pronounced dead at the scene by the Warren County coroner, police say.
