2 injured in Barren County crash

BARREN COUNTY, Ky. – The Barren County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a two-vehicle collision.

According to a release, deputies responded to the crash at the intersection of New Bowling Green Road and Bon Ayr Road Thursday morning.

BCSO’s preliminary investigation shows that a truck driven by Brighton Warren was traveling on Bon Ayr Road. The truck entered the intersection into the path of a drive wagon driven by Roxann Mayhugh.

Mayhugh sustained injuries and was transported to Skyline Medical Center in Nashville. A juvenile passenger in Mayhugh’s vehicle sustained minor injuries and was transported to T.J. Samson Community Hospital.

The investigation is ongoing.
