2 Grayson County men charged with child sexual abuse offenses, says KSP

ELIZABETHTOWN, Ky. – According to Kentucky State Police, two Grayson County men were arrested Tuesday following investigations into two separate child sexual abuse investigations in the county.

KSP Post 4 Detectives launched both investigations in April 2026. Following both investigations, each was presented to a Grayson County Grand Jury. Both cases returned indictments against both men.

Thirty-seven-year-old Jared T. Joyce, of Leitchfield, was arrested on charges of first-degree sodomy (2 counts), kidnapping, first-degree sexual abuse (2 counts), and third-degree sodomy. Joyce was lodged at the Grayson County Detention Center. His cash bond was set at $1,000,000.

WNKY News 40 reported that Joyce was arrested by the Bowling Green Police Department on a complaint warrant by the Leitchfield Police Department on May 4.

Fifty-year-old Jason A. Elmore, of Clarkson, was arrested and charged with first-degree rape, human trafficking-comm sex activity (victim<18) and unlawful transaction with a minor, 1st – illegal controlled substance, u/16 years of age. He was lodged at the Grayson County Detention Center. Elmore’s cash bond is set for $500,000.

The investigations are ongoing.
