Adair County man charged with robbery after alleged EPO violation

COLUMBIA, Ky. – A Columbia man is charged with robbery and wanton endangerment.
On Aug. 28 at approximately 10:51 am, Columbia Police Department officers responded to a restaurant parking lot for a report of an Emergency Protective Order (EPO) violation, according to a release.
Officers say they made contact with a female victim who was not injured or harmed during the incident.
According to the release, officers located the suspect, 19-year-old Gage C. Bernard, inside a vehicle on Conley Drive. Gage was arrested at the scene.
Gage is charged with first-degree robbery, first-degree wanton endangerment, violation of a Kentucky EPO/DVO, and possession of marijuana (enhancement). He was lodged at the Adair County Regional Jail.
The investigation is ongoing.
