1 flown for treatment after shooting in Hopkinsville

HOPKINSVILLE, Ky. (WKDZ) – One man was injured following a shooting in Hopkinsville on Monday afternoon.

That’s according to a report by WKDZ, which states the incident happened on in the parking lot of Bradford Square Mall off of Fort Campbell Boulevard.

Hopkinsville police say just after 3 p.m., an argument occurred between two men, resulting in shots being fired, according to WKDZ.

WKDZ further reports one man was shot in the leg.

According to WKDZ, the injured man reportedly ran behind the mall.

Hopkinsville Fire Department spokesman Capt. Payton Rogers says the man was transported to be flown to Skyline Medical Center in Nashville due to his injuries, the report states.

Two men are in custody, police say, however, no one has been charged as of Monday, according to WKDZ.
