71-year-old man dies after farming accident in Barren County

BARREN COUNTY, Ky. (Glasgow News 1) – One man has died after a reported farming accident in Barren County on Thursday.

According to Barren County Coroner Tim Gibson, the man was identified as 71-year-old Dennis Smith.

In a report by Glasgow News 1, local authorities say Smith died due to a hay wrapping accident, where Smith was caught in a machine.

According to Glasgow News 1, Barren County deputies were dispatched to Settles Road at 7:06 p.m.
