Woman accused of DUI, threatening to kill officer
FRANKLIN, Ky. – In Simpson County, a woman is accused of driving under the influence, threatening to kill an officer and striking jail employees.
According to the arrest citation, police observed 62-year-old Teresa Rickman fail to stop at a red light on Main Street.
Once stopped, police say she had a cold beer in the cup holder, could not keep her balance and blew a .118 on a breathalyzer.
The citation states that on the way to the Simspon County Detention Center, Rickman said she was going to kill the officer once she was released, continued the threats once at the jail, spit on him and struck two deputies at the jail.
Rickman is charged with a handful of offenses.
