WKU freshmen transition to Hilltopper life with M.A.S.T.E.R. Plan
BOWLING GREEN, Ky.-It’s a big day for the new kids on Western Kentucky University’s campus. Freshmen are moving into their dorms!
M.A.S.T.E.R. Plan started today for all of the fresh faces. It stands for Making Academic and Social Transitions Educationally Rewarding.
Since 1993, the program has helped undergraduate students transition smoothly to their new life as a Hilltopper.
The M.A.S.T.E.R. Plan week includes small group meetings, Topper Traditions night, social events, a class photo, Topper Fest and Big Red’s Blitz.
“We really focus on the social transition that takes place when a student comes to college and making sure our students know what resources are here and available to them,” said WKU’s Director of Media Relations Jace Lux.
Over 2,000 students are participating in M.A.S.T.E.R Plan this year.
