Warren County Sheriff’s Foundation set to host gala in September

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – The Warren County Sheriff’s Office is introducing a new way to support local law enforcement.

The Warren County Sheriff’s Foundation will provide financial resources beyond what the government budget can fund, focusing on training, equipment and more.

There will be a gala on September 9th at La Gala on State Street, featuring dinner, dancing and a silent auction with proceeds benefitting this new foundation.

Sheriff Brett Hightower is excited to bring this idea to fruition with the help of one of his dispatchers.

“I’ve seen Louisville Metro Foundation. I’ve seen some other police agencies that use these, and it really kind of gets a lot of the community involved. People want to be involved, they want to support, but there’s not really a nexus of how they can get involved with law enforcement. So this provides that opportunity for people to get more involved,” he says.
