Warren County man sentenced in fentanyl trafficking case

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – A Bowling Green man has been sentenced to 70 months in prison after officials say he was connected to fentanyl trafficking.

According to the United States Attorney’s Office, Western District of Kentucky, LeDrae Smith, 28, received his sentencing this week.

Court documents say on April 6, 2022, Smith possessed with the intent to distribute 326.9 grams of a fentanyl mixture, according to officials.

Following his release from prison, officials say he was ordered to serve four years on supervised release.

The case was investigated by Homeland Security Investigations Bowling Green and the Bowling Green-Warren County AHIDTA Drug Task Force.
