Warren County man accused of stabbing neighbor
BOWLING GREEN, Ky.- A Warren County man is behind bars after authorities said he stabbed a neighbor.
The incident occurred Saturday at 4:55 a.m. at a residence on Rondal Drive.
According to the Warren County Sheriff’s Office, Zachery Hunt, 27, was under the influence and causing a disturbance at his neighbor’s home.
Hunt was asked to leave, but refused, according to authorities. When the neighbor and another man attempted to escort Hunt from the home, Hunt pulled out a pocket knife and cut the neighbor in the abdomen, according to investigators.
Hunt was eventually located and arrested.
Hunt is charged with second-degree assault, third-degree criminal mischief, possession of marijuana and third-degree criminal trespassing.
Hunt is lodged in the Warren County Regional Jail and being held on a $6,000 bond.
