Warren County man accused of intentionally striking man with pickup truck
BOWLING GREEN, Ky.- A man is charged with assault after deputies in Warren County said he intentionally struck another man with his pickup truck.
In addition to second-degree assault charge, Richard Grimes, 51, is charged with first-degree wanton endangerment and second-degree disorderly conduct.
According to an arrest citation, Grimes and the victim were involved in a verbal dispute on Sweeney Ln.
Moments later, Grimes got in his truck and accelerated toward the victim, striking and injuring the man, according to the citation.
When apprehended, deputies said Grimes denied striking the man with his truck.
Grimes is in the Warren County Regional Jail where he’s being held on a $5,000 bond.
