Warren County deputy honored with Governor’s Award

WARREN COUNTY, Ky. – A Warren County deputy is being recognized with a Governor’s Award relating to roadway safety.
According to the Warren County Sheriff’s Office, on Wednesday morning, Deputy Wesley Flowers was honored at the 2026 Governor’s Occupant Protection Enforcement Awards Ceremony.
Officials say Flowers was this year’s nominee from the sheriff’s office for the most citations relating to occupant protection. This includes failure to wear seatbelts, failure to use a child restraint device in a vehicle and no booster seat.
The ceremony gathered law enforcement agencies from throughout Kentucky to present the awards.
