Warren Central High School to honor Hall of Fame class
BOWLING GREEN, Ky.- Jan. 5 marks the annual Warren Central High School Hall of Fame induction ceremony.
From football to softball, former players and coaches from Warren Central are being honored for the accomplishments on and off the field and court.
Among some of the inductees is former Coach “Eck” Branham; Nick Britt, a member of four state tournament basketball teams; former football standout JJ Jewell; female basketball and softball standout Aaron Richmond; former football coach Ricky Wood as well as the entire 1989 football team, who had the most wins in school history.
Todd Steward, the chairman of the Hall of Fame Committee, thinks this could be an opportunity for current student-athletes to gain perspective on what those who came before them went through.
The Hall of Fame induction ceremony is taking place 2 p.m. Jan. 5 at Warren Central High School.
