Visitor center, museum reopen at Mill Springs Battlefield

NANCY, Ky. (AP) — Mill Springs Battlefield National Monument in southcentral Kentucky has reopened its visitor center and museum. A statement from the National Park Service says the facilities in Nancy reopened on March 3 and will be open to visitors from Wednesday through Sunday. Guests are required to wear face masks while inside. Superintendent Catherine Bragaw says safety is paramount and each operation and service will be examined to ensure they comply with current public health guidance. Officials say some services remain unavailable, including in-person ranger-led interpretive programs.
