Van donation for family wounded in police shooting

(KJRH/NBC News) An Oklahoma mother whose kids were hurt in a recent police shooting has received a minivan to help her with future doctors’ trips.

Olivia Hill lost her pickup truck in the officer-involved shooting. Three of her young children were hit in the head.

The shooting took place on April 26 in Hugo, Oklahoma.

The two police officers who opened fire at the truck, not knowing the kids were inside, are on paid administrative leave.

Authorities say they were going after a robbery suspect who was driving the truck at the time.
