UPDATE: Grayson County authorities say missing man found dead
UPDATE (SEPT. 14 @ 2:30p.m.) – According to the Grayson County Sheriff’s Office, 56-year-old Paul Anthony Callahan was found dead.
The Grayson County Sheriff’s Office and the Grayson County Coroner’s Office are handling the investigation. No foul play is suspected.

LEITCHFIELD, Ky. – The Grayson County Sheriff’s Office is searching for a missing Louisville man.
According to GCSO, 56-year-old Paul Anthony Callahan last communicated with his family on Sept. 11 at approximately 5 pm.
Deputies say Callahan’s vehicle was found in the 448 Circle Hill Road area of Falls of Rough under “unusual circumstances.” Callahan has not been located.
GCSO released the following regarding Callahan’s description:
- White male
- 56 years old
- Approximately 6’3”
- Approximately 185–190 lbs.
- Bald / closely cropped hair
- Green eyes
Callahan was last seen wearing a black shirt, gray shorts and white shoes.
GCSO says Callahan has friends and acquaintances in the Rough River/Falls of Rough area and is known to stay or camp in the area.
