Texas Roadhouse to present funds raised to Down Syndrome of Southern Kentucky

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. — A restaurant in Bowling Green is presenting funds raised during July to local nonprofit Down Syndrome of Southern Kentucky.

According to Texas Roadhouse, it will present the funds to DSSKY on Sept. 4 at 10 a.m.

Organizers say the presentation will take place at Texas Roadhouse at 3353 Nell O’Bryan Court in Bowling Green.

Throughout July, Texas Roadhouse customers had the opportunity to support DSSKY by rounding up their restaurant bills to the nearest dollar. The campaign proceeds will help support the organization’s programs, services and mission to enhance the lives of those with Down syndrome and their families across southern Kentucky.

“We are grateful to the Texas Roadhouse team and its guests for their generous support,” said Stephanie Morton, executive director of DSSKY. “Community partnerships like this help us continue providing meaningful resources, advocacy and opportunities for individuals with Down syndrome and their families.”

Representatives from Texas Roadhouse and DSSKY will be present for the check presentation. Members of the community are invited to attend.
