Study: Kentucky ranks near bottom in charitable behavior
Kentucky – New reports say Kentucky ranks near the bottom in charitable giving in the U.S.
According to a new study by the personal finance website WalletHub, Kentucky ranks 42nd overall in 18 categories of charitable behavior in the united states.
The numbers don’t get any better though… the Bluegrass ranks 48th in the percentage of people who donate money to charities.
And in the percentage of people who donate time, Kentuckians are dead last out of all 50 states.
The news isn’t all bad, however, Kentucky ranks second in percentage of people who collect and distribute food to the needy.
