Spring Cleaning! Household Hazardous Waste Day

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – Just in time for the first week of spring, Warren County Public Works is having their first Hazardous Waste Day  for 2023.

This weekend, public works encourages the community to come out and dispose of those things that you don’t want around the house but maybe shouldn’t put in the garbage can. Things like old mercury thermometers, or paint thinner can be handed off to the county for disposal.

Stan Reagan, environmental coordinator for the Warren County Public Works said contrary to popular belief, tires are not hazardous.

The event will take place Saturday, March 25 from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. at 999 Lauren Avery Drive.
