South Union Shaker Village Baseball

With spring training wrapping up and the MLB season about to begin, people will soon be flocking to the stadiums to enjoy America’s pastime.

But others flocked to a field to watch the game be played like it was over a hundred years ago.

The South Union Shaker Village held a ball game with no gloves, no called balls, and no fence. A game that would be recognizable to someone who lived in the 1800s.

The Ragtags and the Barons got together to play two games like their great great great grandfathers would have.

An homage to a game that has changed so much since then but has remained just as fun.
