Some Warren County residents could claim part of $9.6M in unclaimed property

WARREN COUNTY, Ky. – Warren County residents can learn on Tuesday if they have unclaimed property.

On Tuesday, Sept. 22 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., the Kentucky State Treasury’s Unclaimed Property team will be at the Warren County Courthouse.

While there, the team can help residents search for unclaimed property, according to officials. According to the Warren County Government, unclaimed property can include forgotten bank accounts, uncashed checks, insurance proceeds, utility deposits and other funds that belong to Kentuckians.

Treasury staff will be on site to assist residents using the state’s database and answering questions. The process is free, quick and secure, according to officials.

The Warren County Courthouse is located at 429 E. 10th Ave. at Suite 201 in Bowling Green.
