Scottsville police investigating armed robbery at gas station

SCOTTSVILLE, Ky.- Police in Scottsville are investigating an armed robbery that occurred at a gas station late last month.
Details on what happened were just released by the Scottsville Police Department late Tuesday morning.

Police said the incident occurred Monday, September 30 at the Marathon Fastrac on Veterans Memorial Highway.

Police believe three suspects wearing black hoodies, masks and gloves, entered the store. Two of the suspects were armed with a knife.

Authorities said the suspects stole more than $4,500 out of the cash registers and left the scene before police arrived.
