Scottsville man receives 33-year sentence in death of former roommate

SCOTTSVILLE, Ky. – A man who legally changed his name several years ago to The Reverend was sentenced Wednesday to 33 years in prison after pleading guilty but mentally ill to the murder of his former roommate Gary Glueck.

Reverend, 38, formerly known as Robert Reynolds, admitted to stabbing and strangling his former roommate Feb. 25, 2016 in the personal care home, Scottsville Manor.

Wednesday, Warren Circuit Court Judge Steve Wilson, who was the special judge in the case, sentenced Reverend in Bowling Green, according to court records.

A person who pleads guilty but mentally ill must receive mental health treatment while incarcerated.
