Salvation Army of Bowling Green offering cooling center

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – The Salvation Army of Bowling Green is offering shelter as an excessive heat warning hits local areas.

From Tuesday through Friday, the cooling center will be open to those in need of safe shelter from the high temperatures.

Operating hours are 11:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. for this week only.

You can find the Salvation Army at 400 W. Main Ave. in Bowling Green.
