Rural Barren County Roads to Receive Repairs

Some rural roads in Barren County will soon be getting some much needed maintenance.

At the Barren County Fiscal Court meeting Tuesday, transportation officials announced the county would receive about 1.6 million dollars to use on road repairs. The money is coming from the state’s rural secondary road program. A good chunk of the money will be used for resurfacing and drainage work on Park City-Bon Ayr road and Thomerson Park Road.
