Rep. Brett Guthrie files for reelection
BOWLING GREEN, Ky.- South central Kentucky Congressman Rep. Brett Guthrie is seeking another term in congress.
The Republican filed for reelection Monday.
Guthrie, first elected in 2008, is a Deputy Whip for the House Republican Conference and sits on the House Energy and Commerce Committee.
Guthrie said Monday he plans to run a positive campaign with Kentucky and its people at the center of it.
In 2018, Guthrie defeated Democrat Hank Linderman in the midterm elections. A Democrat has yet to file this time around.
